It is made from natural magnesite ore selected, purified by flotation, then light-burned, finely ground, ball-pressed, and calcined in a shaft kiln. It is a raw material for brick making and monolithic refractories. Using light-burned magnesia with MgO content of 97% as raw material, it is produced through processes such as ball pressing and high-temperature shaft kiln calcination. The product has good sintering degree and dense crystallization. It is a raw material for producing medium-grade magnesia refractory products, and can also be used to manufacture various magnesia bricks, magnesia-alumina bricks,ramming materialsand furnace patching materials. Those containing more impurities are used for paving the bottom of steelmaking furnaces, etc.
