Fused magnesia is mainly used for auxiliary refractory materials such as gunning materials and ramming materials, as well as special refractory bricks such as flow steel mouth bricks, magnesia bricks, magnesia-chrome bricks, etc. It can also be used as refractory lining on vacuum and non-vacuum induction furnaces and electric arc furnaces. It is an ideal raw material for making magnesium oxide crucibles and various high-temperature bushings.
